A weekly ‘homework pack’ our food members collect each week when they come to get food parcels. You will work on the pack and return it to our WRAP co-ordinator, each week you will be working on different themes like: planning/ the benefits of structure/ being organised. Healthy eating | Healthy eating shared on our social media accounts including cooking demonstrations. Information can also be mailed/delivered to people who would like it. Recipes and healthy eating information is also being included within the Food Packs and Food Bank resources that are being distributed to families in need, these provide options for cooking the food provided in the boxes. | |
Healthy eating | Community Food Initiative - families across our communities to sign up, to Cook@home, receipes and ingredient packs will be delivered to homes of families with children ages 0-12 years, families will be asked to cook at home and share what they did and how it went on line/using whatsapp or text. Food delivery | Covid - 19 Community response: we are working with our community volunteers and communuity response partners to ensure people have access to food who need help to shop, those who are shielded or in hardship have a food box delivered and healthy, nutritious food being made available for families and people who are shielded, isolated or experiencing hardship.
