LORAG is committed to supporting and assisting the diverse Inner City community from ‘the cradle to the grave’ in a multitude of areas from personal development, family support, employment and training support, community cohesion and innovative health initiatives.

Shaftesbury Healthy Living Centre health projects aim to target and reduce the health inequalities in the Inner South Neighborhood Renewal Area (Lower Ormeau, Donegal Pass, Markets, Botanic) of South Belfast and further afield stretching across South, East Belfast and wider Belfast.

The broad range of projects delivered from the Centre are funded from various sources but most notably from the Public Health Agency, Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, Sport NI, Belfast City Council, Active Belfast, Department of Social Development and the National Lottery.

We deliver a vast range of services, programs and activities which are underpinned by Health Improvement and Health Promotion. LORAG programs work with a diverse range of clients ranging from toddlers and parents right up to vulnerable senior citizens.

LORAG adapt a flexible and holistic approach to delivering services, we are very much a client centered and a bottom up community health promotion organization that always puts the overall well being of service users foremost.
