Stroke Rehabilitation

Over the past year we have invested resources in two staff to part take in the ARNI Stroke Rehab Level 5 qualification across in London. This has enabled the HEART Project to enhance upon the current rehabilitation course we offer including, Cardiac Phase IV and Cancer Phase IV. Stroke can often be seen as the forgotten comorbidity however the effects of a stroke can be devastating. Each Stroke Survivor affected in different ways. The impact of the stroke can be both physical, emotional and mental.

This community based rehab programme sets new boundaries and challenges that empower stroke survivors to regain function, confidence and willingness to continue with progression along the rehabilitation pathway.

It is the aim of the HEART Project to enable much more stroke survivors to overcome the effects of a stroke and enable them to function daily task's.
